Jushi New Energy (Lianshui) Starts to Build 500MW Wind Power Project

On December 30, 2025, the 500MW wind power project of Jushi New Energy (Lianshui) Co., Ltd. successfully commenced construction.

Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were leaders including Zhi Xiao, Assistant General Manager of China National Building Material Group (CNBM); Liu Yan, Chairman of China Jushi; Cao Guorong, Vice President of China Jushi; Wen Zhaijun, Deputy General Manager of China Building Materials Academy; and Yu Chengyu, Director of the Lianshui Development Zone Management Committee.

CNBM Assistant General Manager Zhi Xiao announced the commencement at the site.

The construction of this second-phase wind power project is a key initiative for Jushi to actively implement the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals and to launch a strong start for the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030). The project plans to install the latest modern smart wind turbines featuring 185-meter ultra-high hybrid towers, 220-meter large-diameter rotors, and intelligent control systems.

Upon full completion, it will comprise about 76 wind turbines, with an estimated annual on-grid electricity of about 1.24 billion kWh—equivalent to one-third of Lianshui County’s annual electricity consumption—and is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by around 1 million tons per year. In addition to meeting the green electricity demand for the electronic fabric production line at the Huai'an Carbon-Neutral Intelligent Manufacturing Base, the project will further contribute to building a "carbon-neutral industrial park" in Lianshui.
